Job Description

The Software Quality Analyst ensures the delivery of high-quality software by developing and executing test plans, documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance usability, functionality, and performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases (functional, regression, usability).
  2. Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality and performance.
  3. Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA (or equivalent) with clear reproduction steps and severity.
  4. Report defects to developers and stakeholders, providing concise information for resolution.
  5. Collaborate with development/product teams to clarify requirements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  6. Contribute feedback on usability, functionality, and performance improvements.
  7. Create and maintain documentation of testing processes, test cases, and defect reports.
